Rentals & Transportation Coordinator

About the role

This position involves coordinating the mobilization and demobilization of equipment, arranging rentals, and managing relationships with vendors and Sundt job site staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport of assets with third-party transport companies
• Maintain asset location and jobsite assignments in ERP system
• Create rental equipment records in the company ERP system
• Maintain awareness of company-owned equipment utilization
• Maintain relationships with Sundt job site staff and vendors
• Order rental heavy equipment from vendors based on best value
• Provide rental equipment rates and transport rates to estimating teams
• Review Blue Book reimbursement rates to estimate FOG and M&R costs
• Communicate equipment information to operations team
• Review and approve rental and transport invoices
• Allocate cost components of invoices to correct accounts and process in ERP system

Requirements

• Capable of reading and understanding vendor invoices
• Comfortable with computers, capable of learning advanced software applications
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills with agile response
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with common heavy equipment and transportation practices
• Organizational skills necessary for dispatching duties
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment
• Ability to comply with safety standards and procedures
