Rental Shop Clerk

About the Role

Providing exceptional customer service is expected to ensure a safe and comfortable start to the guest's experience at Catamount. Experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate! Rental Shop Clerks are responsible for the efficient and safe distribution of ski boots and helmets. Clerks do not have to be 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge customers quickly and courteously.
• Determine customer's equipment needs.
• Adhere to safety procedures regarding use of tools and equipment.
• Maintain rental equipment in good condition.
• Must be very customer service oriented, polite, personable and present a neat appearance.
• Ability to work harmoniously/diplomatically with a variety of people including the public.
• Drug-free workplace; may be subject to drug screening/background check.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Workweek includes weekends, evenings, and holiday hours.

Physical Demands

• Stand for long periods.
• Walk.
• Use hands to handle, hold, or feel.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Pushing/pulling objects.
• Reach overhead while lifting 30 lbs.
• Stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl.
• Lift up to 30 lbs and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
