Rent A Center- Store Manager in Training

About the role

We are the largest Rent A Center franchise with a family feel and room for growth. This position focuses on advancement and training for future management positions.

Essential Job Functions

• Drive store performance to meet and exceed established sales standards
• Recruit, develop and retain an effective store team
• Monitor and ensure total customer satisfaction
• Create, manage, and execute plans to increase sales and profits
• Manage and execute plans to achieve store account management standards
• Manage store performance by budgeting and analyzing various reports
• Manage store inventory by ordering, receiving and transferring products to ensure revenue and profit growth
• Organize daily activities including scheduling coworkers to meet needs of the store
• Manage and secure the assets of the store
• Assist with customer deliveries and merchandise set-up when needed

Requirements

• MUST be bilingual in Spanish
• TWO years of assistant management experience preferred
• Profit and Loss experience preferred but not required
• HEAVY LIFTING REQUIRED
• CANONICALLY COMPUTER PROFICIENT IN A WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM
• MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE
• HAVE A VALID HIGH-SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT
• PURSUE A VALID STATE DRIVER'S LICENSE
• EXCEL IN COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BOTH ORAL AND WRITTEN
• MUST BE LEGALLY PERMITTED TO WORK IN THE US
• ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK, DRUG SCREENING, AND MOTOR VEHICLE RECORDS CHECK
