About the role
We are the largest Rent A Center franchise with a family feel and room for growth. This position focuses on advancement and training for future management positions.
Essential Job Functions
- Drive store performance to meet and exceed established sales standards
- Recruit, develop and retain an effective store team
- Maintain and ensure total customer satisfaction
- Create, manage, and execute plans to increase sales and profits
- Manage and execute plans to achieve store account management standards
- Manage store performance by budgeting and analyzing various reports
- Manage store inventory by ordering, receiving, and transferring products to ensure revenue and profit growth
- Organize daily activities including scheduling coworkers to meet needs of the store
- Manage and secure the assets of the store
- Afford assistance with customer deliveries and merchandise set-up when needed
- Assist with other duties assigned by the Regional Manager
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish (a huge plus)
- Two years of assistant management experience preferred
- Profit and Loss experience preferred but not required
- Heavy lifting required
- Computer proficiency in a Windows operating system
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have a valid High-School Diploma or Equivalent
- Possess a valid state Driver's License
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Must be legally permitted to work in the US
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle records check
