About the role
StarRez is seeking a Renewals Analyst to join our North American Customer Success team. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting customer retention and recurring revenue by managing contract renewals and amendments from preparation through completion. You will partner closely with Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, and customers to negotiate renewal terms, prepare proposals and contracts, and deliver a seamless renewal experience. You will also use customer and renewal data to identify risks and opportunities, maintain accurate forecasts, and provide insights that support informed decision-making.

Travel: Less than 5% (The percentage of travel is an estimation and could vary based on business needs.)
This role reports to the VP, Renewals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end renewal process for assigned customer accounts, partnering closely with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives to deliver a seamless and timely customer experience.
- Negotiate customer renewal terms and support retention and subscription revenue growth by effectively positioning pricing updates, packages, and commercial options.
- Prepare accurate renewal proposals, amendments, and contracts, ensuring customer information, products, pricing, coverage dates, sales credits, and other contractual details are complete and correct.
- Support the migration of existing customers from legacy plans to current packaging and licensing models.
- Proactively identify complex or at-risk renewal scenarios, coordinate the appropriate internal stakeholders, and drive a high on-time renewal rate.
- Maintain accurate renewal forecasts, account details, notes, and contact records in Salesforce, providing regular reporting and insights to management.
- Analyze customer and renewal data using Salesforce, business intelligence tools, and financial information to identify trends, support decision-making, and continuously improve the renewal experience.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in renewals, sales, account management, customer success, or a related customer-facing commercial role
- Experience working with a CRM and maintaining accurate customer, opportunity, or account data
- Strong customer-facing communication skills with the confidence to discuss pricing, contracts, renewal terms, and commercial considerations
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of accounts and meet both routine and time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across Customer Success, Sales, and other cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
- Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Salesforce
- Experience negotiating with customers and procurement teams
- Experience managing customer quotes, contracts, amendments, and commercial terms
- Experience analyzing customer financial, renewal, or revenue data using business intelligence tools
- Demonstrated curiosity and initiative to identify process improvements and take ownership of new projects

Pay
Base salary: $70,000—$80,000 USD
In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for a bonus/commission plan. When meeting 100% of goals, the expected total annual compensation for this role is between $80K - 90K USD.
