Remote Workday Compensation Manager

Summary Job Summary (List Format) Workday Compensation Manager Lead and configure Workday Compensation for a large, unionized shipboard employee population (40,000+), focusing on a current implementation and go-live. Serve as subject matter expert, providing expert-level consulting to HR leadership on compensation processes, best practices, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with HR, IT, Payroll, and other business units to translate business requirements into scalable HR technology solutions. Oversee testing, integration (including with MAPS crew management system), deployment of new compensation plans, and business process changes. Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, compliance, and program alignment; act as primary escalation point for complex issues. May supervise a small team of compensation analysts. Requires at least 5 years of direct experience configuring and leading Workday Core and Advanced Compensation in complex, unionized environments. Strong analytical, project leadership, and stakeholder management skills required. Bachelor s degree required; Workday Pro and/or Project Management certifications preferred.
