Remote Volunteer Legacy Lounge Event Host — Planned Giving Education

Responsibilities

• Welcome attendees, explain the event purpose, introduce speakers, and keep sessions on schedule
• Facilitate respectful questions and route specialized inquiries to authorized professionals
• Reinforce that the event provides general education—not individualized legal, tax, investment, or estate-planning advice
• Support accessibility, captions, privacy, consent, and recording procedures
• Carefully coordinate polls, chat, transitions, acknowledgments, and closing calls to action
• Document follow-up requests through approved systems
• Protect donor information and avoid discussing individual giving capacity publicly

Qualifications

• Experience in hosting, facilitation, donor engagement, events, public speaking, hospitality, or community education
• A warm, professional communication and calm virtual-event presence
• The ability to follow approved scripts, boundaries, timing, and escalation procedures
• Familiarity with planned giving or philanthropy is helpful but not required
• No unlicensed professional advice or personal solicitation
