Remote Union Benefits Representative

About the role

The Arete Agency is hiring full-time Remote Union Benefits Representatives. Our representatives are members of OPEIU Local 277 and work with union and association members who have requested information about their available benefits.

Responsibilities

• Contact provided leads—no cold calling or door knocking
• Meet with members remotely through Zoom
• Explain available benefits and coverage options
• Help members complete benefit enrollments
• Maintain accurate follow-up and member records
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings

Compensation

This is a full-time, 1099 independent-contractor position paid entirely through commission. There is no hourly wage or base salary.

Based on individual production, annual earning potential is approximately $80,000–$150,000, although results vary and are not guaranteed. Advancement into management is available, with top-performing leaders having the potential to earn more than $250,000 annually.

• Strong communication and organizational skills
