About the role
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving new business growth by selling an integrated payroll and workers’ compensation platform to SMB owners and developing referral partnerships with CPAs, brokers, and financial advisors.
Responsibilities
- Generating a healthy sales pipeline through outbound efforts and local events
- Managing the full sales cycle from discovery to closing
- Closing at least 8+ accounts monthly
- Building strategic partnerships
- Participating in local industry events
- Maintaining accurate CRM data
- Collaborating with customer success teams to ensure high retention
Requirements
- 2+ years in B2B sales within payroll, insurance, or HCM fields
- Possess a proven "hunter" mentality
- Strong closing skills
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable engaging with SMB owners in blue-collar and service industries
