Territory Sales Manager (Remote)

About The Role

This role is dedicated to driving sales growth and leading business across the New England region. Candidates may be based anywhere in central New England. You will be responsible for achieving and consistently exceeding sales targets while expanding market share and building strong, lasting relationships with key customers in the equestrian industry. Candidates with substantial equine industry experience are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify incoming leads, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with key decision-makers to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and achieve sales goals, while regularly tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with builders, architects, and other key stakeholders in the region.
  • Oversee regional projects by managing product applications, hardware specifications, and reviewing project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with the internal sales support team on large-scale projects and serve as Project Manager when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in a related field plus 3 years of sales or customer service experience.
  • Proven B2B and B2C sales background.
  • Previous P&L (profit & loss) responsibility is strongly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of equestrian facilities and/or general construction is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specification lists.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and effectively use CRM software (HubSpot).
  • Highly organized with strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in sales or customer service roles.
  • Commitment to maintaining customer confidentiality.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, continuous improvement, and profitability.
  • Effective leadership skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong follow-through.
  • Self-motivated with a positive, high-energy attitude and high integrity.

Work Environment

Remote position with approximately 50% travel throughout the New England states.
