Remote Dispatch Coordinator

It serves both residential and commercial clients, providing timely restoration services to help recover from unexpected disasters. The organization coordinates emergency responses through a network of operations, office, and production teams to deliver professional and efficient restoration support. 2. About the Opportunity:The Remote Dispatch Coordinator serves as the initial point of contact for customers experiencing emergencies. This role is essential in gathering critical information, reassuring customers, and coordinating dispatch teams to ensure prompt and effective restoration service. Working fully remotely, the position supports seamless communication among various internal teams and contributes to delivering a fast, professional customer experience. 3. Responsibilities:• Answer incoming emergency and customer service calls with professionalism and empathy.• Collect accurate details to dispatch appropriate crews quickly.• Schedule emergency response and restoration services using job management software.• Coordinate daily technician schedules and adjust priorities in real time.• Provide customers with updates throughout the restoration process.• Maintain detailed job documentation and data entry.• Manage general customer inquiries and routine office communications.• Collaborate remotely with Operations, Business Development, and Production teams.• Assist with additional administrative and customer service tasks as needed. 4. Requirements:• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.• Friendly, compassionate, and customer-focused demeanor.• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.• Tech-savvy with ability to learn scheduling and dispatch software quickly.• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting.• Reliable and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.• Collaborative team player with effective communication skills. Preferred:• Experience in dispatching, scheduling, customer service, call centers, or administrative roles.• Background in restoration, construction, or plumbing is a plus.• Experience working remotely is advantageous.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and adaptability to new software.• Access to high-speed internet and a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace. 5.
