Remote: CA-Barred Litigation Attorney - [Plaintiff-Side]

About the role

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a midsize plaintiff trial firm in its search for a Contract Litigation Paralegal for an approximately 6-month assignment. This opportunity will support a multi-plaintiff, complex litigation construction defect matter and is ideal for an attorney with strong plaintiff-side litigation experience and hands-on knowledge of discovery and meet-and-confer processes. The role is fully remote and open to candidates who can reside anywhere, but candidates must be California barred and available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of complex plaintiff-side litigation on a multi-plaintiff construction defect matter
• Draft, organize, and manage discovery, including responses, document production, and discovery tracking
• Support attorneys with meet-and-confer efforts related to discovery disputes and related case issues
• Maintain case files, organize pleadings and correspondence, and assist with litigation deadlines
• Coordinate with attorneys and litigation team members to support overall case strategy and workflow

Qualifications

• Must be California barred
• Must have prior plaintiff-side litigation experience
