REMOTE: CA-Barred Commercial Litigation Attorney

Robert Half Legal is partnering with a highly regarded, mixed-practice, full-service boutique litigation firm to find a senior-level Commercial Litigation Attorney for remote contract support on an active business litigation matter. This role is ideal for an experienced attorney with 10+ years of commercial/business litigation experience, particularly those with strong federal court experience. The attorney will support a named partner and two associates on a complex litigation matter and will not serve as attorney of record.

About the role

Location: Fully Remote (Candidates may reside anywhere in the U.S.; must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar)
Duration: Approximately 90 days, with potential to extend

Responsibilities

• Draft dispositive motions, pleadings, and other substantive law and motion papers
• Assist with written discovery, including drafting requests and responses
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
• Support overall case strategy and litigation workflow in partnership with the legal team
• Contribute to business litigation matters in federal court

Requirements

• Active California Bar membership required
• 10+ years of commercial/business litigation experience strongly preferred
• Significant federal court experience required
• Strong law and motion drafting skills
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal research memoranda
• Intellectual property litigation experience is a plus
