Remote Business Development (RD)

Position Overview

The Outreach Liaison collaborates with the sales and operations teams to identify and engage referral sources to grow market share in outlying markets. Key responsibilities include making outbound calls, providing education about Aveanna Healthcare Medical Solutions' product lines and services, and fostering relationships to generate new referrals.

Duties

• Meet and exceed patient referral and start of care growth expectations
• Making outbound calls to high-potential accounts
• Providing education about Aveanna Healthcare Medical Solutions' product lines and services
• Fostering relationships to generate new referrals
• Developing sales strategies
• Generating leads
• Utilizing market trend data
• Reviewing clinical documents
• Completing new patient forms
• Educating new patients/customers
• Conducting virtual patient education and equipment set up
• Assembling and preparing new and existing customer information packets
• Initiating and coordinating virtual referral source education events
• Tracking call activities and meeting call volume expectations
• Reviewing clinical documents, physician’s orders, and other relevant information to facilitate new enteral referrals
• Addressing patient questions and concerns as needed
• Tracking referral and start of care volumes to the expected goal
• Documenting all communications with physicians, patients, or caregivers in the assigned software platform
• Providing regular feedback to management regarding sales activity and success in market development

Requirements

• Certification/ License to Registered Dietitian or Registered Diet Technician (based on the state licensure requirements)
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company standard
• Bachelor’s degree in nutritional science or dietetics; or equivalent work experience for an Associate’s degree as a Diet Technician that is accredited by ACEND

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of 25 pounds
• Must be able to sit and climb stairs
• Must have visual and hearing acuity
