Remediation Foreman

About the role

The Remediation Foreman is a full-time leadership role overseeing environmental remediation and construction projects. They direct field crews of up to six personnel, coordinate daily site activities, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Read and implement blueprints and technical specifications
• Install and troubleshoot remediation systems, including groundwater treatment and vapor mitigation
• Manage excavation, utility installations, and related construction tasks
• Operate construction equipment and oversee site logistics
• Conduct safety meetings and compliance inspections
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in environmental or civil construction
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings
• Equipment operation skills
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred skills

• Environmental systems installation experience
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER training
• Certifications such as CDL

Ideal candidate

Physically capable of performing demanding site work, working in various environmental conditions, and adhering to safety procedures with proper PPE.
