About the Company

Flint is transforming American healthcare by addressing the critical shortage of healthcare professionals. We connect world-class international healthcare professionals with hospitals offering Green Card sponsorship, creating life-changing opportunities for nurses and their families while strengthening healthcare systems across the U.S. Backed by Y Combinator, Haystack VC, Audacious Ventures, and notable angels from Airbnb, Twitch, and Flexport, Flint is a Series A, mission-driven team operating in 20+ states. We've raised over $8M and are on track to help over 100 healthcare professionals immigrate and start new careers in the U.S. by the end of this year.

About the Role

As a key member of Flint’s team, you will own the relocation function, transitioning it from a manual process to a scalable system. You’ll manage the Operations Associates team, build playbooks and dashboards, and serve as the primary support for nurses during their relocation journey. This is a builder’s role—you’ll design workflows, establish vendor relationships, and ensure a seamless relocation experience for healthcare professionals and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach the Operations Associates team, providing day-to-day guidance, performance feedback, onboarding, and training
  • Own the end-to-end relocation experience, including pre-arrival planning, flights, housing, transportation, and local orientation
  • Build playbooks, SOPs, and dashboards to track KPIs such as on-time arrivals, housing placement rate, and candidate satisfaction
  • Provide direct support to nurses during critical moments, ensuring they feel supported throughout their transition
  • Pre-scope new facility cities by traveling on-site to assess housing, transportation, and local logistics
  • Collaborate with Account Management, Immigration, and Licensing teams to surface risks, align timelines, and ensure seamless handoffs

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in operations or program management
  • Experience designing or building operational workflows, playbooks, or systems (not just maintaining existing ones)
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis, reporting, or dashboard creation
  • Professional experience overseeing relocation processes (e.g., executive relocation, global assignments, or relocation operations)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience founding or co-founding a business, freelance practice, or side project
  • Familiarity with U.S. healthcare, EB-3 immigration pathways, or Board of Nursing (BON) licensing
  • Recent experience delivering an AI project or AI-driven operational improvement
  • Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
  • Prior management or leadership of at least one direct report
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or business

Why This Role is Different

  • Report directly to the Head of Operations and manage the Operations Associates team from day one—your work will shape how the function scales
  • Join a Series A company with $8M+ raised, operating in 20+ states, and targeting 4x growth—relocation is a critical bottleneck
  • Your work directly impacts nurses’ arrivals, their families’ first months in the U.S., and the hospitals awaiting their arrival
