About the role
The Red Bank Catholic High School seeks a dedicated and faith-filled Religion Teacher to join their faculty. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic committed to the mission of Catholic education and passionate about helping students grow in faith, knowledge, moral understanding, and service to others.
Responsibilities
- Show strong understanding of Catholic doctrine, Scripture, theology, and Church tradition
- Be competent in Catholic Social Teaching, including the Church's moral and theological wisdom regarding human dignity, the common good, poverty, economic justice, human rights, and the responsibilities of individuals and institutions in society
- Teach at the high school level with strong classroom management skills
- Support the spiritual, academic, and personal growth of students through meaningful discussion and reflection
- Collaborate with the broader school community
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Theology or a related field
- Have a strong commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the school
- Be able to engage high school students in meaningful discussions and reflections
Qualifications
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience teaching at the high school level
- A deep understanding of Catholic doctrine, Scripture, theology, and Church tradition
- Catholic Social Teaching competency
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Theology or a related field

Pay
