About the role

VCA Stoney Creek Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited, full-service small animal practice located in Charlotte, North Carolina. We offer high-quality veterinary medicine, daycare, boarding, and grooming services in a modern, well-equipped facility with digital radiography, ultrasound, digital dental radiography, and a feline-friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Practice high-quality medicine using sound clinical judgment, compassion, and professionalism
• Collaborate with an experienced and well-trained veterinary support team
• Support our medical team during scheduled coverage needs

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in North Carolina
• Experience in small animal medicine preferred
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Completion of an AVMA accredited internship or residency program

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively

Pay

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Relief coverage is available during our regular medical hours, which are Monday through Saturday. Scheduling is flexible and based on hospital needs and mutual availability, with no long-term commitment required.
