About the role
VCA Village Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Relief Veterinarian to join their busy 2-doctor practice in Larchmont, NY. The practice is highly regarded in the community, offering a wide range of services including spays, neuters, dentals, mass removals, and more. They also provide hands-free radiology and access to outside ultrasound imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced veterinary procedures under supervision
- Provide compassionate care to patients and their owners
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth workflow and patient care
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
Requirements
- Current New York State license
- Experience in advanced veterinary medicine preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Passing score on North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
