VCA Far Country Animal Hospital is seeking a relief DVM to join their team in Palmer, Alaska. The hospital is a small animal, AAHA accredited general practice in the Matanuska Valley with a unique culture that values each team member's skills and personalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality veterinary care to patients
• Collaborate with the team to ensure patient care standards are met
• Adapt to a growing team environment
• Participate in clinical studies and continuing education opportunities

Requirements

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Alaska
• Experience in general small animal practice
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
