Relief Veterinarian

Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown Virginia is expanding and seeking an emergency veterinarian to join our team of four dedicated DVMs. We are a privately owned clinic specializing in state-of-the-art emergency and critical care for small animals and some exotic pets. Our services include laser therapy, hospitalization, in-house bloodwork (Abaxis), and most emergency surgeries.

About the role

We’re looking for compassionate, team-oriented relief veterinarians with strong communication skills and experience in emergency medicine.

Schedule

• Wednesday and Thursday overnights: 6 PM – 8 AM or 4 PM – Midnight
• Saturday and Sunday day shifts: 8 AM – 6 PM

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• Active veterinary state license
• Current DEA license (preferred but not required)
• USDA accreditation (preferred but not required)
