Relief Operator

About the role

This is a full-time, 1st-shift position in a production facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including packaging machines, palletizers, forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrappers, and front-end loaders
• Reject and dump bad bags of product
• Perform general housekeeping tasks: sweeping, scraping, shoveling, wiping, etc.
• Change stretch wrap and top sheets
• Operate programs such as SAP, MII, FourKites, and RtDuet to tag downtime events and enter production numbers
• Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
• Minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
• Able to perform physical job duties such as bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Experience using a computer
• Able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
• Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Able to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent job experience
• Prior experience in production-related work or military experience
• Experience operating a forklift and/or warehousing
• Experience with SAP and/or warehouse inventory management systems
• Able to operate heavy equipment, such as bulldozer and front-end loader

Pay

$24.00/hr
