Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities
- Maximize maintenance efficiency to ensure maximum cost benefit while lessening the interruption to production using predictive and maintenance techniques and systems.
- Develop historical data through observation and analysis, which will be used to conclude component and equipment lifecycles. This data will be useful for budgeting equipment/component replacements.
- Maintain accurate data management and record keeping of maintenance history.
- Support and grow a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
- Report on standard maintenance measures that are directly related to the production fleets – namely: availability, mean repair duration, mean time between maintenance, component usage and cost (actual versus budget) monthly.
- Oversite of bulk oil and fuel cleanliness standards.
- Perform oil analysis on PM samples and report on findings to reliability engineer and planning department.
- Perform onboard monitoring telemetry data analysis and report findings to reliability engineer and planning department.
- Create work requests/orders for corrective actions in CMMS.
- Liaise with Planning Department and Senior Reliability Engineer.
- Analyze components on planning 90 Day Horizon for replacement now or pursuit of longer life.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills: Communicate regularly, both written and oral in a wide range of forums.
- Time Management: Ability to pace own work and work unsupervised. Capable of adjusting priorities when necessary.
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions as needed.
- Proficiency with computer skills and software: Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to multi-task and change priorities quickly, while recognizing when decisions need to be elevated.
- An ability to manage tasks both in-person and virtually.
- Willingness to train and achieve MLA1 and MLA2 oil analysis certifications through designated vendor (company paid).
- Experience with Reporting Software tools such as Power View, Power BI, etc. preferred.
- Exposure to Project Management tools and techniques preferred.
- Ability to manage and influence stakeholders across different functions.
- Demonstrated ability to create data-driven business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical diploma, OR equivalent industry experience.
Skills
- Oil analysis certifications (MLA1 and MLA2) through designated vendor (company paid).
- Reporting Software tools such as Power View, Power BI, etc.
- Project Management tools and techniques.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $71,250-$95,000.
Schedule
This is a full-time position, 10-hour shifts, with occasional flexibility required. Based at the mining site in Cripple Creek, Colorado (CC&V), where we conduct mining operations critical to our industry.
