Reliability Engineer

About the role

The primary responsibility of the Reliability Engineer is to ensure the reliability and safety of our products and systems through the implementation of quality assurance measures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality assurance plans and procedures
• Conduct root cause analysis on failures and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability
• Perform inspections and tests to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Document findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a reliability engineering role
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (such as ISO 9001)
• Proficiency in using statistical tools and software for data analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Experience with failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
• Knowledge of reliability growth methods
• Understanding of risk assessment methodologies
• Experience with Six Sigma or similar methodologies

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

Pay

Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 per year
