Relationship Manager
Job Overview
The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing client relationships for Professional Liability policies and ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. This role includes servicing accounts, handling renewals, processing new business, and maintaining accurate client data.
What You’ll Do
- Client Management
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and support agency retention goals
- Client Service & Retention
- Proactively manage assigned client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Maintain regular client contact based on individual account needs
- Respond promptly to client calls and emails
- Address client questions, concerns, and service requests in a timely manner
- Manage all policy renewals beginning at least 90 days prior to expiration
- Contact clients via phone and/or email to review coverage and renewal needs
- Sales & New Business
- Recommend and sell appropriate Professional Liability policies
- Process new business opportunities from Advisors and direct leads (MedPro)
- Manage the full lifecycle of new business from application through binding
- Policy Servicing & Administration
- Enter and maintain accurate client data in agency management systems
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and updates as requested by clients
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and in compliance with internal procedures
- Follow all agency workflows and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required-Must have an Active Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
- Strong verbal and quantitative aptitude
- Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word)
- Professional phone and email etiquette
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs)
- High proficiency in math, typing, and general computer skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs
Compensation
The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
