Relationship Manager
About the role
A Relationship Manager Associate at Capital One facilitates strong partnerships with dealers and sales managers while providing high level customer service to our internal Auto Finance business. The role involves influencing 60-80 dealerships, building positive relationships, optimizing communication skills, reviewing underwriting structures, guiding deals for funding, analyzing territory production goals, and partnering with peers and teammates to achieve operational alignment.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate positive relationships with our dealerships.
- Optimize communication skills by creating strategic deals and goals with dealerships over the phone.
- Review the structure in underwriting for COAF.
- Guide the deals in house for funding.
- Analyze territory production goals.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills to partner successfully with peers and teammates to efficiently achieve operational alignment and mutual objectives.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in Financial Services or at least 1 year of Business to Business Sales experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred.
- 2+ years experience in Auto Finance preferred.
- 2+ years experience in Customer Relations preferred.
- 5+ years experience in Customer Service preferred.
Schedule Expectations
- Available ~3 Saturdays a month as needed to cover dealer inquiries and escalations with Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday off.
- In office 5 days a week for the first 90 day training period.
- Potential to work up to 2 Sundays a month with Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday off.
