Reimbursement Analyst
About the role
As a Reimbursement Analyst at XiFin, you will be part of a high-performing team of billing professionals reporting directly to the Manager, RCM. In this role, you will partner with Customer Account Managers, AR/Reimbursement Managers, and team members to produce workflow enhancements and system optimizations that reduce cost, increase efficiency, and/or generate additional revenue.
This is an onsite position in our Charleston, SC office. This position is not eligible for employment sponsorship now or in the future. Applicants must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Compile and review customer accounts receivable data; identify trends in customer workflow, share results, and provide suggested solutions.
- Present analytics when needed that will aid in managing and streamlining operations.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects around automating system workflow, data gathering and reporting.
- Complete ad-hoc projects, denial investigation, and reports for team research/review.
- Develop SOPs based on learned knowledge of industry, customer nuances, and system requirements in the effort to streamline, optimize, and automate front and back-end claim management.
- Perform routine audits and assist in training and development.
- Provide support to shared service teams to problem solve and educate customers.
Requirements

- A progressive experience in billing, reimbursement and/or strategic analytics role desired.
- An analytic thought process for investigating issues, identifying root causes, and resolving them.
- A high level of communication and people engagement experience.
- MS Excel required.

Skills and experience

- A BA/BS in Business, Finance, Healthcare IT/Mgt, or equivalent experience.

Pay
The expected hourly range for this role is $25 to $30, based on your experience, skills, and geographic location. Depending on your qualifications, you may be considered for either an Associate Reimbursement Analyst or Reimbursement Analyst title. Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary accordingly.
