About the role

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Rehabilitation Therapy Manager to lead and oversee rehabilitation services at Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital. Responsibilities

  • Leads rehabilitation services by overseeing patient assessment, treatment planning, scheduling, and productivity standards.
  • Ensures high-quality, evidence-based therapy delivery; collaborates with physicians and families; and maintains departmental compliance with applicable inspections and policies.
  • Performs appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observes/evaluates treatments and recommends changes to the physician as needed.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develops teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involves families as appropriate and evaluates learning effectiveness.
  • Affirms pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contacts the physician for appropriate intervention.
  • Oversees scheduling of treatments and maintains departmental productivity standards.
  • Safeguards compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current state licensure/certification as Physical Therapist and/or Speech Pathologist and/or Occupational Therapist.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • At least one (1) year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Occupational Therapy.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and techniques.
  • Ability to assess and manage pain effectively.

Pay

The base compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 8a-4:30p.
