Rehabilitation Services Manager

About the Role

The Rehabilitation Services Manager manages and directs operations of the physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and athletic training programs for inpatient, outpatient, and home health and hospice clients.

The manager plans and administers medically prescribed physical therapy treatments for patients suffering from injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.

The role provides leadership, decision-making, and effective communication through participation on Barrett Hospital & HealthCare’s Department Managers team. The manager strives for a consistent and fair work environment, fosters an atmosphere of respect and accountability, integrates “Just Culture” principles, and focuses on safety for patients, staff, and fellow employees as well as high-value services.

Requirements

• Master’s or Doctorate degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Documentation of passing the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) and an active Montana State license in Physical Therapy from the Montana Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience with two to three years of previous management or supervisor experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and write documents, procedures, and reports.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
