About the role
The Rehabilitation Therapy Aide / Hospital Assistant position at Harborview Medical Center's Comprehensive Outpatient Rehab Program is a full-time (40 hours per week), day shift position.
Responsibilities
- Orders and restocks supply areas and equipment.
- Maintains cleanliness and order in work areas, gyms, and storage areas.
- Moves and sets up equipment for therapists and patient care.
- Transports patients to and from rooms and treatment areas.
- Assists with patient care tasks such as ambulation, positioning, and turning.
- Drives the rehab van as needed.
Requirements
- Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) or Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC) with the State of Washington.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Six months experience involving customer service in a healthcare setting, or six months experience involving direct patient care, or equivalent education/experience.
- Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire.

Compensation, Benefits & Position Details
Pay Range: Minimum $25.85 hourly, Maximum $37.00 hourly. Benefits: Other compensation includes access to benefits through UW Medicine. Shift: First Shift (United States of America). Temporary or Regular: Regular position. FTE (Full-Time Equivalent): 100.00%. Union/Bargaining Unit: WFSE HMC.
