Rehab Therapy Aide

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Rehab Therapy Aide will perform selected treatment procedures commensurate with training under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist. Duties include maintaining patient scheduling, preparing and filing daily therapy charges, preparing home programs, inventing and filing supplies and equipment, distributing therapist correspondence, assisting nursing staff during patient meal times, maintaining linen inventory, cleaning hydrotherapy equipment and hydrocollators, cleaning mat tables, completing daily maintenance and equipment checklists, transporting patients to and from the nursing unit to scheduled therapy sessions, assisting in draping, dressing, and undressing patients for treatment, and communicating changes in patient status promptly and accurately to licensed therapy personnel.

Qualifications

• BLS certification
• Availability to work (8a - 4p) and rotating weekends
• Working knowledge/proficient in use of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Certified in Rehab Tech course, preferred
