Rehab Technician PRN
Job Summary
The Rehab Technician assists with activities in support of maintaining a clean, safe and functional department as directed by the Rehabilitation Therapy licensed therapists (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, ST).
Qualifications
- A High School Graduate or Graduate of Technical or Vocational school desired.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS required within 30 days
- Six months experience in a health care setting or equivalent technical training in a related health care field preferred.
- Previous office experience including medical terminology and computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task, and passion for patient care.
What you will do in this role
You will set up therapy treatment and assist therapists with patient care.
You will monitor the department inventory, including patient supplies, linen, office supplies and copied materials, and notify appropriate personnel when any need to be replenished.
You will clean and maintain equipment.
You are clean the work area, including returning equipment to appropriate location after treatments, removal of dirty linen and disposal of any debris.
You will perform clerical support duties and provide general assistance as needed.
