Rehabilitation Technician, PRN
About the role
This position is available on a per diem basis at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington. The hospital is jointly operated by Lifepoint Health, Texas Health Resources, and Methodist Hospital System. We are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care that meets and exceeds industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepares treatment areas and cleans treatment areas
- Positions patients
- Procures and inventory of supplies
- Transports and assists patients and therapists
- Prepares patients for prescribed treatment
- Aids professional staff with patient treatment
- Cleans and maintains treatment areas and equipment
- Keeps an accurate inventory of therapy supplies
- Performs routine clerical tasks for the Therapy Department
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- CPR/BCLS Certification
- Minimum six months experience in an acute or long-term facility (preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
