Responsibilities
- Provide therapy under your disciplinary scope of practice (OTA or PTA).
- Serve as the liaison between Key Rehab and community staff to minimize administrative burden and provide support, allowing clinicians to deliver therapy services.
- Coordinate staffing and daily scheduling to meet key performance indicators and expectations under the direction of a Regional Supervisor.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited PTA or OTA program.
- Current PTA or OTA license to practice in the state(s) assigned.
- CPR certification, as required by community.
- Valid driver license and car insurance as required by state law.
- Other items as required by federal, state, and local standards.
Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a long-term care setting and service coordination.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills: ability to efficiently manage tasks and address challenges with effective solutions.
- Flexibility and team collaboration: adaptable to changing situations and committed to working seamlessly within a team environment.
- Exceptional communication: outstanding oral and written communication skills for clear and effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
- Experience with geriatric population: prior experience working with elderly patients, demonstrating an understanding of their unique needs.
- Knowledge of Medicare billing regulations: familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.
