Rehab - Clinical Nurse (Part-Time)

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, adhering to nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific considerations.
• Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safe practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Requirement: Nursing Diploma/Associate's in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
• Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.

Additional Information

This role involves working in a 9-bed, open 24-hour unit alongside PT, OT, and Speech therapists. The position emphasizes safety, patient education, and teamwork to deliver high-quality care.
