About the role
NHC Smithville is seeking a Rehab Aide to support our mission of providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in patient care
- Filing, faxing, scanning, organizing information through multiple formats on Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based therapy program
- Managing equipment and ordering supplies
- Aiding in restorative therapy
- Collaborating with nursing and activities staff to provide quality care
Requirements
- Compassionate, caring, team player
- Very adept at computer skills and organization
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced rehab environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- CNA certification or similar experience required
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with patients, families, and coworkers
- Proficient in typing and navigating basic computer functions, including web-based applications
- Strong work ethic and excellent attendance
