Rehab Aide

Key Responsibilities

• Support therapists, therapy assistants, and nurses in delivering hands-on care.
• Aid with treatment activities under supervision.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain treatment areas.
• Complete accurate written documentation of care provided.
• Assist with inventory tracking, ordering, billing, scheduling, and departmental data reports.
• Answer phones, retrieve messages, and direct callers appropriately.
• Safely operate patient-care equipment and perform routine safety checks.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of a Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent experience preferred.
• At least one year of patient care experience, ideally in a medical center setting.
• Experience in PT, OT, nursing, or home health is preferred.
• Maryland CNA certification preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

• Competence in typing, filing, and computer use.
• Ability to lift patients and perform physically demanding tasks.
