Description

The Regulatory Reporting team at Huntington is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Senior. This role is crucial for preparing, completing, and submitting required regulatory filings in compliance with federal guidelines, including those from the Federal Reserve, FFIEC, and OCC.

  • Create and submit required banking regulatory reports such as the Call Report, FR Y-9C, FR Y-9LP, FFIEC 009, FR 2644, FR Y-14Q, and others as needed.
  • Analyze and document reported numbers and conclusions based on regulatory guidance.
  • Maintain control documentation and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Analyze results and provide insights to management regarding trends and fluctuations.
  • Collaborate with all segments of the bank to gather reportable data.
  • Maintain accuracy and timeliness in response to FRB instruction updates and FAQ/Q&As.
  • Automate and improve efficiency in regulatory and external filing processes.
  • Perform reconciliations with other regulatory and external filings.
  • Aid colleagues and fulfill ad hoc requests from management.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, bank accounting/reporting, or financial reporting
  • Experience with banking regulations and/or core banking processes
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain partnerships
  • Ability to multi-task and excel in both team-oriented and individual-driven assignments
  • Public accounting experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with General Ledger, Loan Origination systems, Loan Servicing systems, regulatory reporting, and/or banking regulations
  • Excellence in Excel and possibly Exceedance Base experience

Compensation Range

$57,000 - $113,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.

Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
