In this role, you will be the first person that Patients and Families will interact with when entering the Psychology Department at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. You will not only act as ambassador for exceptional customer service, but will also be responsible for data entry and the verification of all patient demographic, insurance, and financial information. In this specialist role, you will schedule for both inpatient and outpatient psychology and neuropsycholgy appointments, understanding both medical and behavioral health insurance verification and responsible for verifying patient insurances for all service types. Position Registration Specialist, Psych Shift 8AM-2:30PM (Mon-Fri) Experience Two or more years of patient registration and/or financial counseling experience preferred.Strong knowledge of medical and/or behavior health terminology preferredKnowledge of managed care guidelines required.Strong organizational skills, detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills and problem resolution skills required.Experience with electronic medical record scheduling or registration applications, use of multiple databases, as well as working knowledge of the internet, word, excel and email.Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Licensures/Certifications N/A
