Requirements
- A bachelor's degree and 2 years of direct service work experience in mental health. One year of which must be work experience in Psych Rehab Services (PRS). Certified Psychiatric Rehab Practitioner (CPRP) certification shall be attained within 2 years from the date of hire as a psychiatric rehabilitation specialist.
- OR Certified Psychiatric Rehab Practitioner (CPRP) certification.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team providing individual and group psych rehab services to members of the program.
- Teach skills and assist members to reach their goals.
- Facilitate groups.
- Complete all documentation following established time frames, individual recovery plans, assessments, and crisis/safety plans, as well as other documentation for assigned caseload.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed to individuals in service.
- Follow daily schedule for groups, coordination of the day, sign-in, community meeting, and lunch.
- Attend monthly staff meetings and individual supervision 2 times per month.
- Attend at least 18 hours of psych rehab training yearly with 12hrs specifically focused on psych rehab or recovery practices, or both as required by state regulations.
- Attend any Merakey assigned trainings.
- Plan, schedule, and facilitate small group trips into the community to work on goals of the individuals in service.
Pay
$20.77/hr.
