Registration Representative

About the role

Join a busy outpatient surgery center as a Registration Representative, serving as the first point of contact for patients, families, physicians, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Interface with patients, families, physicians, and staff
• Admit patients and process registration paperwork
• Update and maintain accurate patient information
• Collect payments and handle funds according to established procedures
• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous clerical or hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency with office equipment and typing speed of 45 words per minute
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills (beneficial)
• Bilingual skills preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
