About the role
To admit all patients in a timely manner. Ensure all current information has been documented, signatures received, insurance verified, authorizations obtained, and deductibles or co-pays requested. Apply wristbands to the correct patients, provide advance directives, and address any patient questions or concerns.
Responsibilities
- Admit all patients in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure all current information has been documented, signatures received, insurance verified, authorizations obtained, and deductibles or co-pays requested in a compliant manner
- Apply wristbands to the correct patients, provide advance directives, and address any patient questions or concerns
- Serve as backup for the phone operator as needed
- Assist with inpatient admissions, including OB, as needed

Requirements
