About The Role

This position is responsible for processing Release of Information (ROI) requests in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will safeguard patient privacy, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and serve as a key point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare staff. Responsibilities

• Process medical record and ROI requests accurately and efficiently
• Verify authorizations and ensure records are released only to approved parties
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients, families, and healthcare personnel
• Scan, fax, copy, and manage medical record documentation
• Maintain productivity, utilization, and quality standards
• Work independently while managing sensitive information

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills
• Ability to operate scanners, copiers, and fax machines
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or within a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
• Ability to maintain quality and productivity standards

Pay

$18.00 - $20.00/hour

Schedule

• Full-time onsite schedule
• Standard business hours
• 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity
• 5 days per week in a hospital setting
