Registered Respiratory Therapist, POOL contract

About the role

A registered therapist who is responsible for respiratory care given in any area of the hospital including special care units.

Responsibilities

• Maintains appropriate documentation as required by administration, state, and federal authorities, and regulatory.
• May be assigned supervisory responsibilities when adequately prepared.

Requirements

• Maintains good physical well-being.
• Maintains good emotional well-being.
• Possesses the ability to work under stress.

Job Knowledge

• Delivers appropriate care to patients from neonatal through geriatrics with regards to age specific considerations.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, associates, patients, and visitors.
