Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs to develop and implement precise respiratory care plans based on specific diagnoses.
- Expertly manage and monitor high-level respiratory equipment and treatments, adjusting protocols based on patient outcomes.
- Act as a core member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing life-saving intervention during critical codes.
- Vigilantly monitor and document patient conditions, ensuring the medical team is informed of real-time changes.
- Empower families with the knowledge to manage health conditions and connect them with vital community support resources.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Respiratory Care Practitioner obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
