About the Role

Respiratory Therapist responsible for evaluating and administering therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

Responsibilities

• Manage ventilator protocols
• Provide breathing treatments
• Consult with physicians on care plans
• Autonomously adjust ventilator settings to meet patient needs

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy
• Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the NBR
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT) in Alabama
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS and PALS may be required depending on the department
