About the Role

Responsible for delivering evidence-based respiratory care to patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory treatments
• Manage ventilator protocols
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and modify patient care plans

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Current NBRC registration as an RRT
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an LRT in Alabama
• Certification in BLS (required)
• ACLS and PALS certifications may be required depending on the department
