About the role

The Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients of all ages, including performing diagnostic tests, administering treatments, and developing care plans with healthcare teams. Conducts assessments, manages therapies like oxygen, nebulizers, and ventilators. Performs pulmonary function tests and ABG analysis for respiratory evaluation. Supports emergency and critical care, assisting with CPR, airway management, and ICU patient care. Educates patients and staff on respiratory techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessments, manages therapies like oxygen, nebulizers, and ventilators.
• Performs pulmonary function tests and ABG analysis for respiratory evaluation.

• Ensures compliance with safety protocols, maintains equipment, and follows policies.

Requirements

• Requires Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, at least 1 year of clinical experience, valid state licensure, RRT credential, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Must possess strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, including rotating shifts and physical demands such as lifting and working in various environments.
