Registered Private Client Associate, Branch Support Specialist
About the role
The Registered Private Client Associate (RPCA) – Branch Support Specialist serves as a centralized resource within the Private Client Group, providing temporary administrative, operational, client service, and sales support to Financial Advisors and branch teams across the firm during planned and unplanned PCA absences. This role is based at Janney’s Home Office in Philadelphia and is not permanently assigned to a specific branch, Financial Advisor, or team.
Responsibilities
- Quickly adapts to varying business practices, client service models, and team structures while maintaining a high standard of service, operational accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Serves as a business continuity resource, ensuring seamless support for Financial Advisors and clients during staffing transitions, leaves of absence, and other short-term coverage needs.
- Demonstrates exceptional flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate independently in unfamiliar environments while building productive relationships with branch associates and home office departments.
Requirements
- Series 7, 63 and 65, or 66
- 3 years’ experience as a Private Client Associate
- Able to work a hybrid schedule - three days per week in the Philadelphia, PA office
- Available for ad-hoc travel
Qualifications
- High School diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
