About the role

Performs Sleep Disorders procedures ensuring quality and clarity of recording along with detailed documentation. Communicates pertinent information to Sleep Lab Supervisor and/or physician as needed. Provides safe and effective patient care that addresses age-specific variations related to clinical, educational, psychosocial, and cultural needs.

Completes appropriate educational activities to maintain and increase competency, including all required hospital and departmental in-services, education, and training as assigned. Collaborates with other team members and departments to facilitate patient care across the continuum. Maintains a clean and safe environment conducive to meeting customer needs and regulatory standards.

Provides feedback, reports, and initiates changes to improve patient care and/or the work environment. Utilizes available standards, literature, and research findings to guide evidence-based practice decisions and provide leadership in patient care. Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Night Shift, Thursday–Saturday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Full time

Pay

Most new hires start between $24.40–$30.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

$5,000 sign-on bonus for the Springdale Campus.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program, technical school, or nursing diploma

Certifications

  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) – Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) must be obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Additional certification(s) must be obtained within 6 months of hire
